GPS Ultra
A high-precision GPS receiver dedicated to Rallymeter. It connects over Bluetooth, needs no wheel sensors or cables, and gives automatic references the precision a phone’s GPS simply can’t.
A phone’s GPS is built for city navigation, not regularity: few updates, a tiny antenna and filtering that smooths the track. GPS Ultra is built to measure.
With ten positions per second, the app detects each reference with far less uncertainty — both when capturing them in the recce and when correcting distance in the race.
Distance is integrated inside the unit from satellite-measured speed, not by jumping between positions. The result: less noise and a stable distance even at low speed.
Four constellations at once mean more satellites in view in valleys, forests and mountain roads, exactly where a phone’s GPS degrades.
No sensors, no magnets, no cables to the wheel. Ideal if you want precision with maximum simplicity, or often change cars.
Start with GPS only. Want more? Add wheel sensors to the same unit.
GPS Ultra does not force you to change anything.
